Marinade (for 4 pieces of b/l s/l chicken thighs):
2 1/2 Tbsp soy sauce
2 Tbsp sugar
1 Tbsp finely-grated ginger**
1 Tbsp finely-grated garlic**
1/4 tsp 5-spice
1 egg
**I was too lazy to grate the garlic & ginger, so I used
3/4 tsp each of garlic and ginger powder
Marinated chicken overnight in soy sauce, sugar, egg,
garlic, ginger, and 5-spice.
Coated with COARSE sweet potato starch, and
air-fried for 15 minutes with a little Pam.
Threw in some Thai basil towards
the end. Tossed with some pepper salt & a dash of chili powder.
